Hi I’m Suzanne!
I’m passionate about what makes humans thrive; I’ve studied this extensively across disciplines - yoga philosophy, wellness coaching, polyvagal theory, nervous system regulation, and perinatal mental health - in addition to professional experience in counseling and my personal experience as a human. I bring all of this into the therapy experience with the goal of helping my clients to live authentically and joyfully.
If you’re here, you may be thinking that feels impossible. Chances are something in your life isn’t going as you’d hoped or expected and you’re seeking meaning or purpose. Perhaps becoming a new parent is much more difficult than you ever imagined or you long to become a parent, but are experiencing fertility challenges or the loss of your baby. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, grieving the loss of a loved one, or feeling stuck in your career.
The feelings you have are completely normal, given what you’ve been through. I would love to partner with you to help you find peace, healing, and yes, even joy. We’ll work together to identify your internal resources, strengths, and motivations to help you build skills in emotional regulation, communication, and interpersonal functioning. We will also focus on nervous system regulation to help your physiology better support your mental health. We’ll focus on building your capacity to cope more effectively with the demands and challenges of life, both now and in the future. All with the goal of helping you to live your life in a way you can feel proud of and enjoy.
